Start to finish

How the job actually goes.

No surprises, in either direction. Here's the whole sequence, what it costs you in disruption, and how we know when it's finished.

  1. 1You call — we answerA person, not a queue, any hour. We'll talk you through shutting off water and staying safe while the truck is loading.
  2. 2On site, usually within the hourWe assess with moisture meters and thermal imaging, because water travels much further than it looks.
  3. 3ExtractionTruck-mounted extraction pulls standing water out far faster than any rental unit.
  4. 4Remove what can't be driedSaturated pad, drywall below the water line, wet insulation. Cutting it back is cheaper than losing the wall.
  5. 5Dry the structure — 3 to 5 daysCommercial air movers and dehumidifiers sized to the space, with moisture readings logged daily.
  6. 6Verify and hand over the documentationDrying stops when the meter says so. The log goes to your insurer with the photos.

What it's like to live with

Honest version: the equipment is loud, it runs day and night, and the affected rooms are out of use for the duration. Air movers sound like a hairdryer that never stops. Most people find the second night the hardest and then stop noticing. Turning equipment off overnight feels reasonable and adds days to the job, so we ask you not to.

What we hand you at the end

That package is what your adjuster needs, and it's the difference between a claim that settles cleanly and one that gets argued.

On rebuild

Mitigation and rebuild are separate phases. Once the structure is verified dry, drywall, paint, flooring and trim can go back. We'll be straight about which parts we handle and where a specialist trade takes over.

Common questions

How soon can you start?

Usually within the hour of your call, anywhere in the Denver metro, at any hour. Extraction typically begins as soon as we've assessed and confirmed the area is safe.

Do you need me to be there?

For the assessment, yes — we'll walk it with you and agree the scope. After that many customers give us access and we work while they're out, with a daily check-in on readings and progress.

What if you find more damage once you open things up?

We tell you immediately, document it, and update the scope with your insurer before proceeding. Water damage regularly extends further than it first appears — finding it is the job, not an upsell.
