Credentials & how to check them
About us.
Emergency water work is a trade where the difference between a good outcome and an expensive one is mostly decided in the first few hours — so the whole operation is built around answering the phone and getting there.

How we work
- A person answers, at any hour. Not a queue, not a callback. We'll talk you through making it safe while the truck loads.
- IICRC-certified technicians. The industry standard body for water damage restoration, which is what the certification behind "properly dried" actually means.
- We measure rather than guess. Moisture meters and thermal imaging on arrival, readings logged daily, and drying stops when the numbers say so.
- Documented for your insurer and billed to the carrier directly on most claims.
- We tell you what we won't do. If something's outside our scope, or you don't need us at all, you'll hear that first.

What IICRC certification actually means
Every restoration company in Denver says “IICRC certified.” Almost none explain it, so here it is. The IICRC is the industry standards body, and technicians certify by discipline. The three that matter for a water loss:
| Certification | What it covers |
|---|---|
| WRT — Water Damage Restoration Technician | Water categories and classes, extraction, what can be salvaged and what must go |
| ASD — Applied Structural Drying | The science of drying a building: psychrometrics, equipment sizing, moisture verification |
| AMRT — Applied Microbial Remediation | Mold containment, negative air, safe removal and clearance |
The written standards the work is measured against are ANSI/IICRC S500 for water damage and S520 for mold. If a company cannot tell you which certifications its technicians hold, that is worth knowing before they open your walls.
How to check any restoration company — including us
Restoration gets bought under stress, which is exactly why the trade attracts operators who over-remove and bill the insurer. Five questions separate them, and we would rather you asked us all five.
- “Which IICRC certifications do your technicians hold?”A real answer names them — WRT, ASD, AMRT. A vague “we are certified” is a flag.
- “Can I see a certificate of insurance?”Any legitimate company sends one the same day. Most commercial buildings require it before you set foot on site anyway.
- “Will I get a written scope before work starts?”You should know what is being removed and why before anyone cuts. Verbal-only is how scopes quietly grow.
- “How will you prove it is dry?”The answer should be daily moisture readings logged against unaffected material — not “we will check it.” Ask to see the log at the end.
- “Do you bill my carrier directly, and what do I owe?”On a covered claim you should generally pay your deductible and little else. Get that clear up front, in writing.
IICRC-certified technicians · certificate of insurance sent on request, same day · written scope before any work begins · daily moisture readings logged and handed to you and your adjuster at completion · direct billing to your carrier on most covered claims, with your deductible normally the only out-of-pocket cost.
What we commit to
- A person answers, at any hour — and talks you through making it safe before we arrive.
- Free assessment with a written scope before any work begins. Nothing starts on a verbal.
- We cut back to dry material and no further. Over-removal is this industry’s standard abuse and we will not do it.
- Daily moisture readings, logged — and handed to you and your adjuster at the end.
- We bill your carrier directly on most covered claims.
- If you do not need us, we say so. A free inspection that ends in “this is dry, you are fine” is a good outcome.
Straight about the trade
Restoration has a reputation problem, earned by companies that arrive fast, remove more than necessary, and bill against the insurance rather than the damage. Our position is simple: cut back to dry material and no further, keep what can be dried, and hand over readings that show exactly why each decision was made. If a job doesn't need us, we'd rather say so and be the company you call the time it does.

Common questions
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes, and technicians are IICRC-certified for water damage restoration. We're happy to provide certificates of insurance on request, which commercial clients and property managers usually need.
Do you do the repairs too, or only the drying?
Mitigation — extraction, removal and structural drying — is the emergency phase and always ours. For rebuild we'll be clear about what we handle directly and where a specialist trade takes over.
How quickly do you really answer?
The phone is answered 24 hours a day. If you ever reach voicemail, leave a number and keep it nearby — we call straight back.
